The Old Town Sportsman 120 PDL is a great choice if you are looking for a reassuringly stable pedal drive fishing kayak for use on big inland waters, gentle estuaries and salty creeks or to try your angling skills along sheltered coastlines. The double-U hull design provides great stability and the high freeboard gives this kayak impressive carrying capacity so making it ideal for anglers of all sizes.

The award-winning Old Town PDL drive system provides you with plenty of propulsion and offers instant reverse, a feature you will come to love while manoeuvring! Conveniently located either side of the seat you will find the rudder steering and the up / downhaul controls enabling you to steer effortlessly as you pedal to your fishing mark. You can also troll a lure as you go using the rear facing rod holders.

The adjustable framed Element Seating system offers excellent comfort and great lumbar support for all-day pedalling and fishing. The seat adjusts along a shuttle track to suit users of various heights. There is also a storage space under the seat for tackle boxes. Fishing while seated is really comfortable and if you want to stand and cast on flat water you will find the EVA deck pads fitted in the footwell provide excellent traction and grip underfoot.

There are 18in tracks fitted either side of the footwell, these are compatible with all the main T-Track fittings from Railblaza, Ram Mounts and more. A universal fish finder transducer mounting point is found under the kayak for super easy fish finder installation. Up on the bow you find a sealed hatch, for storage of larger items of kit such as a trolley. A further hatch is located beneath the seat for access into the hull for more kit or for rigging purposes. The oversized rear tank well will easily hold a storage crate for your gear or cooler for your catch, plus there are side pockets for holding tools and tackle either side of the footwell. There is even a small flip-up located on the PDL drive.

Outfitting on the deck includes two rear facing rod holders and one forward facing rod holder which is great for holding a rod whilst tackling up or unhooking a fish. There are also slots in the hull that allow your rods to be laid down flat to the deck. Carrying the kayak is made easier with solid side and bow handles. There is also a moulded-in grab point at the rear for stability when carrying.

This is a premium fishing kayak for those wanting pedal power, stability and plenty of deck space for kitting out with accessories. A great choice for those wanting to fish the large inland reserviors, lochs and lakes for Pike, Perch and Zander, but also great for general estuary fishing and sea fishing on calm sheltered coastlines.
