The Valley Genesis 14.10 RM sea kayak is compact and playful so makes a great choice if you enjoy paddling amongst the rocks or in the surf. It is surprisingly efficient with good tracking, plenty of glide and enough storage for a few days away. If you are looking for a go to kayak that is both playful and a good tourer then this is the one for you. 

Manufactured in the UK using triple layer polyethylene the Genesis is rigid and has clean lines giving it a very precise feel on the water. The hull has a nicely designed chines with rails that are well-defined through the central section which you will appreciate when running along the face of a wave or carving turns. The rails become softer towards the bow and stern allowing for easy release and effortless transition between edges. Rocker along the keel line is progressive and very nicely set up.

Three bulkhead storage compartments make it easy to organise your kit if you are heading off for a camping trip. Just behind the cockpit within easy reach there is a day hatch for gear you might need while on the water. The large hatch in the stern makes it easy to load bulky items and there is a mid-sized hatch in the bow. Criss-cross bungees are provided for on deck storage and there are safety deck lines around the perimeter.
