 The Valley Genesis Composite sea kayaks are high performing and agile so an ideal choice if you enjoy paddling in a range of locations and conditions. The Genesis excels in surf and is an ideal rock and tide-race play boat however the hull is also efficient with good tracking, plenty of glide and enough storage for a few days away. Available in two sizes (14’10”/452cm and 15’10”/459cm) to suit a wide range of paddlers from 55 to 125Kg. If you are looking for a go to kayak that is both playful and a good tourer the composite Genesis would be a great choice.

Manufactured in the UK and designed to suite UK waters the Genesis is light-weight and has clean lines giving it a very precise feel on the water. The chines provide smooth transitions and the rails are well-defined through the central section which you will appreciate when running along the face of a wave or carving turns and linking wave trains on a down wind run. The rails become softer towards the bow and stern allowing for easy release and effortless transition between edges. Rocker along the keel line is progressive and very nicely set up to be both efficient in a straight line and responsive when edging. 

The small 'snack hatch' is within easy reach and handy for small items then there are three bulkhead storage compartments to make it easy to organise your kit if you are heading off for a camping trip. Just behind the cockpit within easy reach there is a day hatch for gear you might need while on the water. The large oval hatch in the stern makes it easy to load bulky items and will take most trolleys. There is also a mid-sized circular hatch to access the bow storage area. All the hatch covers on the Genesis are the tried and trusted KajakSport brand. Just forward of the front hatch is a flattened area ideal for fitting a Silva 58 compass. Bungee lines are provided for on deck storage and there are safety deck lines around the perimeter.
