The hull features a shallow 'V' with rounded chines through the central area leading in to a slender bow and stern. The hull has a quite gentle rocker along with a Swede form profile with the widest point just behind the cockpit. This provides confidence inspiring stability, great tracking and an impressive amount of glide per stroke. You will find it transitions smoothly onto its edges, feels very stable even on very strong edging and is remarkably nimble for such a long and sleek kayak. 

The Cetus has a four hatch configuration which makes it easy to organise your kit and to distribute it to maintain good trim. Unlike many kayaks the hull is designed to ensure the performance improves the more it is loaded - an essential feature any expedition paddler will appreciate. The Cetus is at home on open water, or handrailing close to shore, and will effortlessly eat up the miles. It runs very well down wind and with a following sea its speed can be quite exhilarating! It is an excellent choice in which to explore a wide range of coastal environments and cover some long open water crossings too. 

With many customisation options you can design a Cetus that will suit your build, experience level and paddling needs. Available in Low, Medium or High Volume builds, you can choose between a retractable skeg or a rudder. There is a range of 6 construction options, from the Ultralight to Heavy Duty.
