Bixpy K-1 Outboard Kit

While most marine motors try to achieve more power using larger batteries and propellers, Bixpy has completely reinvented the trolling motor by borrowing technologies from hydro-electric dam turbines, jet engines and airfoil technics used in aerospace applications. The combination of the technologies used to achieve this perfect harmony of optimized power in an ultra-compact package makes this truly unique product the perfect way to motorize personal watercraft, where space is at a premium. The J-2 Motor features an optimized impeller jet system that is designed to work more efficiently than a conventional propeller or a conventional hydro-jet.

The ducting system eliminates unwanted vortices, eliminating power robbing cavitation and drag problems associated with conventional technologies and propellers. In turn, this PowerShroud™ technology allows Bixpy™ to create a far more compact, lightweight, streamlined motor that gives you the thrust you need without the size, weight or bulk. Simply put, you get more power per pound!

And, the low profile design means far less drag when the motor is off and you are paddling (a significant advantage) and fewer weed issues, too! The compact size of this mighty motor has allowed us to adapt it to a variety of applications otherwise impossible using conventional marine motors. Allowing us to create more than a dozen adapters to let you motorize virtually any personal watercraft. In addition to the design elements, we have spent a tremendous amount of time and resources sourcing and formulating plastics and metals that will not only survive the harshest conditions, but that are extremely lightweight and remarkably durable. To ensure a long lasting seal in salt or freshwater, we worked closely with our partners abroad to source the most corrosive resistant stainless steel on the planet for our motor shaft, a stainless steel that will far outlast the industry gold standard SS316.

All exposed bolts are SS316 with an added titanium coating to further withstand salt and sun. The motor’s heat sinks are made of aircraft grade anodized aluminum. Many of the main plastic components are made of a specialized ABS or ABS/polycarbonate infused with an anti-UV formulation to help withstand salt and sun. Where impact and movement come into play, we use a proprietary glass-filled nylon formula that is treated to last in saltwater and sun while also capable of taking a punch. All in all, we have left no stone unturned in sourcing and formulating materials that are made to last and withstand the harshest conditions one can throw at them. In short, you just can’t beat a Bixpy™!

Combine this mighty motor with a Bixpy Outboard Battery and you now have the ultimate marine motor. We are able to supply two Bixpy kits both of which include the motor unit, battery and remote control: The K-1 Outboard Kit consists of a PP 378 Watt Hour Battery whereas the K-1 Angler Pro Outboard Kit includes the PP 768 Watt Hour Battery. This high performance lithium ion battery is fine tuned to get the most out of your J-2 Motor. The battery is extremely lightweight and provides hours of clean, quiet power for your motor. But beyond that, it offers some unique features not commonly found in other marine batteries. The Bixpy Outboard Batteries are fully waterproof and corrosion resistant in addition to being buoyant, so in the inevitable event of a kayak or SUP flip or large waves, the last thing you need to worry about is your battery getting wet or falling into the water.

The slender body design of the PP-378 allows for a variety of storage and carry options. In most fishing kayaks, the batteries can easily fit under the seats. They can also be strapped to fishing crates, stored in kayak bellies or inside most fishing kayak hatches. Battery output is controlled via a sealed, waterproof, buoyant, wireless controller that can be worn on your wrist or carried anywhere else on your boat. In addition, the Bixpy Outboard Batteries offer a 5V and 12V outlet for charging or running your personal electronics on board.
