Dagger Kayaks Stratos 12.5
The Dagger Stratos 12.5 is the latest touring kayak from Dagger Kayaks. Available in two sizes to suit a range of paddlers - the Stratos 12.5 S (small) and the Stratos 12.5 L (large).
The Stratos 12.5 is a versatile high performance tourer that tracks well and is fine on flat water and in lively seas. It is stable enough for beginners and provides a smooth and forgiving ride while also providing all the response and high performance that highly experienced adenaline seekers will love. It has the speed to get you to where the fun is, be that in tidal races, off-shore rock gardens or journeying along the coastline. The Stratos surfs well and is rapidly gaining a reputation as the rock-hopping boat of choice for adventurous thrill-seeking paddlers, it even does well on fairly gnarly white water river runs!
Volume around the middle keeps you comfortable and riding high, whilst finely tuned rocker profile and soft edges with a distinct rail make the boat manoeuvrable and forgiving in rough conditions. Great hull design is complimented by the excellent cockpit outfitting which can be adjusted to ensure maximum conectivity so every move you make is transferred directly to the boat. The Stratos comes with Dagger's Contour Lite outfitting which provides plenty of comfort and multi-adjust options such as variable hip pad shims and 8 fitting points for fine tuning the thigh pads to ensure you get the level of comfort and control needed for an outstanding paddling experience.
The Dagger Stratos 12.5 is moulded and made here in the UK and is an ideal choice for anyone wanting a versatile multi-purpose kayak.
