Lightweight Touring Kayak
The Delta 14 with skeg is designed for those wanting an ultralight kayak that is easy to hand both on and off the water. Have you ever wanted a kayak with the capabilities of a 14-15ft craft, but have struggled to lift them?... Well, at just 20.4Kg, the Delta 14 is one of the lightest 14 foot kayaks available, and provides the perfect solution for those wanting a longer touring kayak without the heavy weight and hassle. Constructed from an advanced blend of thermoform materials that provides a tough and lightweight build.
The Delta 14 has a long waterline length with a pronounced v shaped hull at bow and stern which equals plenty of forward speed and straight line tracking. The V profile becomes very gentle under the cockpit to give the paddler a feel of confidence, with stability and predictability. This makes the Delta 14 an impressive kayak for experienced paddlers, yet the combination of stability and performance also lends itself to those new to touring and sea kayaking. This makes this kayak suitable for a wide range of both paddler size and abilities.
The spring loaded skeg system is simple to deploy and features a kink-free operation. The skeg line is housed in a tube and tucked away under-deck so it reduces the chance of snagging when loading and unloading gear. The skeg can be deployed at different increments so the paddler can determine the amount of aid in tracking needed.
The upswept bow and moderate rocker, equip the Delta 14 for handling chop and coastal conditions, and the retractable skeg system acts as an aid to help keep the kayak in a straight line when conditions become more challenging. The Delta skeg system is very simple to use and can be deployed at different increments to suit paddler abilities and water conditions. The Elevate Contour seating system is one of the most comfortable seating systems on the market, providing plenty of adjustment to allow the paddler to feel most comfortable in the cockpit. There is a handy day hatch situated just in front of the cockpit with Delta’s proprietary Press-lock hatch system, and generous bow and stern storage compartments with sealed bulkheads and attractive colour coded press-lock hatch covers.
The Delta 14 oozes with style and shelf appeal and is a real game-changer for those wanting a lightweight easy to handle 14ft kayak suitable for day paddles and weekend trips.

Advanced Thermoformed Construction
Delta Kayaks are made using a proprietary blend of thermoplastic materials. An ABS base layer (1) provides superior impact-resistance and rigidity, while the Solarkote exterior surface (2) contributes outstanding abrasion and UV resistance for a smooth, bright finish and vibrant, lasting colours. Thanks to Delta's advanced thermoform construction, Delta kayaks are not just tough and good-looking — they’re also among the lightest on the market.
