Enigma Code Kayak Paddle
The Enigma Code is a lightweight, performance kayak paddle, which can be supplied in either a carbon straight shaft (choice of composite fibreglass or carbon blades) or a full carbon cranked paddle shaft with foam core blades. The Enigma Code paddle features a mid-sized di-hedral blade design with a classic touring shape that suits a wide range of paddlers and abilities. Great for touring & sea kayakers, this blade design offers smooth operation with reduced drag and minimal 'blade flutter'.
The Enigma Code kayak paddle features a length adjustable carbon paddle shaft that provides adjustment from 215cm to 225cm in the straight shaft and 210cm to 220cm in the cranked shaft. Its 2-piece design also offers infinite blade angle (feather) adjustment, meaning you can change your paddle settings on the water with ease to handle changing paddling conditions. This is made easy with the Enigma Code paddles corrosion resistant, tough plastic adjustment clamp. The Enigma Codes carbon paddle shaft also features ovalisation at each hand positioning point to offer increased grip whilst paddling.
The Enigma Code Straight Shaft with either Glass or Carbon blades are an excellent option for all paddler abilities. For those looking for all out performance we recommend the Enigma Code with a cranked (bent) carbon shaft and carbon foam core blades. The bent shaft positions your wrists in a more natural position and is designed to both limit strain on your muscles/joints as well as reduce fatigue for those paddling longer distances. The foam core blades also aid to reduce fatigue.
Note - Foam Core Blades are optimised for performance over durability, particularly with heavy use. As such, those looking for paddles for use in surf/rockhopping environments should opt for a standard glass or carbon blade construction.
Suitable for use with a wide range of kayaks from narrower sit-ins, expedition sea kayaks, to wider sit on top kayaks, tandem kayaks, inflatable kayaks and fishing kayaks. The Enigma Code paddle really is a superb, lightweight Touring & Sea Kayak paddle available at a fantastic price. The Enigma Code even comes supplied as standard with a paddle bag to keep your blades protected whilst in transit or in storage when not on the water!
