Hobie Mirage Passport 12
Designed to offer a great value pedal drive kayak package yet benefit from all the main features of a Mirage Drive kayak. The Passport 12 brings together a lightweight 12ft thermoformed hull with a comfortable raised mesh seat, a Mirage Drive GT with Kick Up Fins, a rudder system and more for a superb all-round pedal drive kayak at a great price. The Mirage Drive GT is a tried and tested pedal drive design and features Kick Up Fins for increased durability - the fins will kick up out of the way if they hit something underwater, therefore greatly reducing the risk of damaging your drive.
Ideal for touring and fishing on coastal waters and inland waterways with a stable yet efficient hull that will cope with short choppy waves typically found on open waters. On flat water the hull remains stable enough for stand up fishing (for those with good balance!) with built-in EVA deck pads on the footwell floor. Comfort is ensured with the mesh seat, whilst control of the Passport is easy using the rudder system, with handle located beside the seat.
There is plenty of space to store gear with bow and stern cargo areas with bungee hold downs, and a twist and seal 8 inch hatch infront of the seat. Further accessories such as a fish finder and rod holders can be fitted to the Passport 12 using the accessory tracks fitted to the sides of the kayak.
Also fitted with two rod holders, a transducer fitment cavity, carry handles, a front vertical accessory tube and a 2-piece alloy shaft paddle. A great option for those wanting a good value high performing pedal drive kayak for all-round use.
