Adding the all new Mirage Drive 360 to the established Pro Angler range is an absolute game changer. You will find manouevring your Pro Angler 14 an absolute joy now you can point the fins in any direction. This brings a previously unattainable precision to the level of directional control you have - when Hobie say 360 they really mean it and this is not just turning in circles it is the kayak moving in any direction; forwards, backwards and diagonally! You can even use the 360 drive in combination with the rudder to refine your direction even further. Those narrow winding waterways and jam packed marinas are no longer a challenge but rather a playground to be enjoyed to the full.

Since the introduction of the Kick Up Turbo Fins you can relax when pedalling through murky waters as either one, or both, of the fins just kick back out of the way if they encounter an object then when it has passed they drop back into place again - perfect for worry free pedalling. An indication of its quality and performance is the increasing presence of the Pro Anglers at big UK freshwater competitions and for small-scale commercial line fishing.

The Pro Angler 14 360 has a host of features which will add up to more comfortable and enjoyable days on the water. The adjustable Vantage ST seat has a tough and quick drying micromesh fabric which, along with the adjustable Lumbar Support will provide day long comfort. There is one rudder control mounted on each side of the seat so whichever hand is free can take steer you to right where you need to be. It is also a versatile kayak, for example its stability, along with grippy deck pads, make it well suited for stand up fishing in fairly shallow rivers and lakes while the powerful drive and outstanding hull design means you can also head out onto inshore waters and target large species too! On each side of the cockpit you will find mounting boards with H-Track for installing fish finders, down riggers etc. They also feature gear/tool hanging points so you can keep your kit secure and to hand. On the outer edge, either side of the cockpit, there are good sized H-Rails which make a handy grabrail or can be used for mounting even more kit including the H-Rail Cup Holder and Rod Racks that are supplied with the kayak!

If you like to target a wide range of fish you will enjoy the on-board horizontal rod storage system which enables you to take up to six rods with you! If that is not enough there are also two flush rod holders either side behind the seat for vertical rod storage or trolling a lure as you pedal. Fitted inside the rectangular hatch is a pivoting tackle storage system which rather nicely offers up two Plano tackle boxes when you open it, this is a great way of managing a wide range of tackle. You will also find a small storage area under the seat and even more storage inside the eight inch twist lock hatch in the stern deck area. if you like to take an H-Crate or Livewell along there is plenty of room in the generous sized rear tankwell. So plenty of options for taking kit along and you are going to need somewhere to store your catch too! Up front there is a capacious hatch with its own liner which is just perfect for bringing your catch home in great condition.

As can be seen below the Pro Angler 14 360 has a retractable rudder system and a tracking skeg for improved straight line cruising. There is also a 260cm 2-piece paddle which stores on the hull, front and rear carry handles and a sail mount, the large skeg really comes into its own when sailing. The hull is anchor trolley ready and has the Hobie Guardian Retractable Transducer Shield - operated via a control cord in the cockpit. The shield will automatically raise up if the transducer strikes an object. The Pro Angler also includes a system of Thru Hull cable seals for waterproof cable routing for easy fish finder installation.

The PA14 360 can be used on coastal waters and will handle reasonably choppy waters well, however it is perhaps on calmer inland waters where you can make use of the outstanding stability, innovative drive and massive outfitting potential that it really excells.

If you want the ultimate fishing kayak with 360 drive then the Pro Angler 14 360 is a great choice. If you want a more compact 360 drive kayak with all the same features then the Pro Angler 12 360 may be for you.
