Hobie Mirage Compass Duo
The Compass Duo offers an excellent combination of stability, deck space and slick efficiency through the water. This makes it a popular choice for family fun and tandem kayak fishing. Powered by two Mirage Drive GT's, the Compass Duo shifts through the water surprisingly quickly and is more than suitable for use in general coastal conditions and calmer inland waters.
Sit back in comfort in the Vantage Compass Seats. These are raised slightly off the deck so you can stay fairly dry whilst on the water. Deck space is plentiful so you can easily outfit with extra accessories or let the kids jump on for a ride. H-Tracks feature alongside each cockpit for easy accessory mounting, such as extra rod holders, camera mounts etc. There are two moulded-in rod holders behind each seat as standard. The large rear cargo area will carry a big dry bag full of kit, or use with the Hobie-H-Crate. Additional storage is provided by the 2 x 8in Twist-N-Seal hatches - one in front of each seat.
A great choice for kayak fishing on the coast and general family fun for touring and exploring.
2020 Model Update: The 2020 Compass Duo now comes with Kick-Up Fins on the Mirage Drive GT's - these fins will automatically kick up out of harms way if you hit an object whilst pedalling. They will automatically re-engage as you keep pedalling. This greatly reduces the chance of damaging your drive whilst on the move!
