Old Town Discovery 119 Canoe
The Old Town Discovery 119 is one of the smallest open canoes in the Old Town range, and has been specifically designed with solo canoeing in mind. This lightweight canoe is easy to be lifted by one person, making car-topping and portaging that much easier. Whilst it's triple layer polyethylene construction offers superb rigidity, durability and abrasion resistance.
For a sub 12ft canoe, the Old Town Discovery 119 offers optimal efficiency and straightline tracking, without sacrificing agility. It's short waterline offers exceptional manoeuvrability both on the water and off. The Discovery 119 Canoe really comes into it's element when exploring your local river, meandering creeks, calm lakes and flat water canal paddling.
Whilst being a compact solo canoe, the Old Town Discovery 119 still offers a generous usable carrying capacity of 204kg. With this in mind, the Discovery 119 is a perfect choice for solo canoeists looking to load up with kit for an overnight camping trip, or bringing a smaller passenger or trusty dog along for the ride.
The Old Town Discovery 119 Canoe is outfitted as standard with a single wood/webbed seat, tough vinyl gunwales, bow/stern built-in carry handles, and 2x ash varnished thwarts. Green, Red and Camo colour options are also available in the Discovery 119, to suit your preference.
