Wilderness Systems Tarpon Angler Sit on Top

The Wilderness Systems Tarpon series bring new design features to the water! The seating position has been completed redesigned to improve support. The seat is fixed into position, so it wont move under you, it has height adjustable thigh supports and the backrest is height adjustable by one handed operation pull cord situated between you legs on the front of the seat. Giving you the most customisable seating position of any Sit on top kayak. The hatch covers are hinged, so you'll never loose them and they have a nice twist locking mechanism to close them securely. The footwells are smooth for comfort if you wish to move up on to your knees and access the front hatch and are fitted with keep footrest for that correct sitting position. All Tarpons have a good sized rear storage area for dry bags, fishing or snorkelling equipment. The Angler spec come fitted with two flush mounted rod holders just behind the seating position & a Baitcaster fitted centre just behind the Bow hatch. The revolutionary Slide Trax rails are fitted flush into the hull where you can slide your Scotty rod holders, Fish Finder or anything else. Wilderness Systems provide a Mounting Plate for an easy fit. The Tarpon series are very stable and with their flared, pronounced bow glide through the water easily.

The SlideTrax Mounting Plate provides a secure, flat, and pre-drilled mounting platform to attach rod holders, fish finders, GPS, etc. to the SlideTrax system. Will not rust or corrode. Fits Wilderness Systems Tarpons with SlideTrax 5½" (14cm) x 2½" (6.4cm) flat mounting surface Pre-drilled for Scotty or RamMount rod mounts. Can be drilled for custom outfitting or accessories. An angler's best friend. The Dashboard's base platform attaches easily into Wilderness Systems SlideTrax rails and mounts across the lower legs. It comes predrilled with holes that accommodate Scotty rod bases, and offers a wide variety of potential accessory configurations, including fishing rod mounts, GPS, fish finders, and more. Slotted edges on both ends accommodate varying kayak width and allow adjustment to desired position. Can be easily drilled to mount custom accessories. (Fits all SlideTrax equipped Tarpons).
