Viking Kayaks Profish 400
The Viking Kayaks Profish 400 is the perfect kayak for those wanting a lighter boat that still keeps those key features of a great angling kayak. This kayak is a great option for those wanting a dedicated fishing kayak for fishing on the UK coast. The efficient hull paddles well in various conditions, handling choppy waves and swell with ease and gliding well on flat water. A true all-rounder that will tick the boxes for the first time kayak angler wanting a great kayak, or for the more experienced wanting a lightweight yet well kitted out option.
At just over 13ft in length the Profish 400 is a mid sized angling kayak which has been developed to provide excellent stability due to the flat chines on the hull and the deck area has been ergonomically designed for greater comfort for paddlers of all sizes while still allowing the use of a variety of seating options for a truly custom fit. At just 27kg the Profish 400 is easy to car top and carry around.
The Profish 400 sides have been scalloped to allow greater paddling efficiency while allowing maximum stability for all paddlers from those new to the sport discovering kayaking for the first time to the expert targeting trophy fish in big water.
Designed and manufactured in New Zealand the Viking Profish range of kayaks have been designed to cope with any conditions, whether your hugging the coast line, rock hoping or paddling through the chop the Profish 400 can handle it.
The Viking Kayaks Profish 400 comes with a Tackle Well Cover with built-in bait board. This opens up to a large tackle storage area. The rear tank well offers plenty more space for larger items of gear and can be used with the Viking Chill Pod (sold separately). The Profish 400 has been updated in 2023 and now includes 2 x Railblaza StarPort HD's fitted in front of the tackle tray, making it easy to add Railblaza accessories.
The Profish 400 comes rudder ready and you can add a rudder (sold separately) at any point. You can also add the removable TacklePod for the centre well (sold separately).

Viking Kayaks Chill Pod
The insulated Chill Pod fits modularly into the rear of the Viking Kayaks Profish 400. The “bread-bin” style lid faces the kayak seat in order to allow access without losing your seated center of gravity. The internal capacity is deceivingly large, and able to accommodate both small and big fish. The Chill Pod will keep ice and fish cold for hours. At the end of your days fishing, simply lift the Chill Pod out of your kayak and into your vehicle – very clean and functional.
Viking Kayaks Insulated Fish Bag
A handy catch storage bag designed to fit in the rear of the Viking Kayaks Profish 400. Lightweight design with large zippered access to the inside making it easy to put your catch inside. Add some ice to keep your catch cold all day long. Includes a top pocket and 4 points of attachment. Quick-release fittings included making it easy to add and remove the bag from your kayak.

Viking Kayaks Angler Rudder Kit
Enhance the performance of your Viking Kayak with this rudder kit. Includes all components required to install the rudder kit to your Viking Kayaks Profish 400. The rudder is controlled via tip-toe footrest controls for ease of use and comfortable paddling.
