The VE Aircore Fara paddles are premium build light-weight paddles with a mid-sized Aircore Carbon Blade which provides a precise feel and plenty of power. The Aircore build provides great flotation and is lighter than foam core blades. The blade thickness is stepped down progressively towards the tip to reduce the swing weight.

The Aircore Fara paddles are designed for higher angle paddling, the blade connects smoothly with the water providing a very clean catch and a precise feel right through to the exit of each stroke. This blade packs plenty of power which is ideal if you are looking for a surge of acceleration when needed such as when powering out through the surf, catching downwind runs or just heading out for a long day on the water in a lively sea. Shafts are subtly ovaled on both sides making them suitable for right handed or left handed paddlers. The level of indexing provides for maximised grip without interfering with rotation. The finish on the shaft is smooth but far from slippery.

Supplied as a 2-piece adjustable paddle as standard, just flip the nylon lever-lock open and it takes seconds to adjust the length (up to 10cm), or the blade feather angle, without the need for tools. There are no pre-set click points on the VE Aircore Fara ferule so you can get exactly the length and angle that suite you within the available range. If the sea gets lively just shorten the shaft on the go for great high angle strokes and if it is gentle you can stretch it out and do some lower angle paddling to give your muscles a rest! Likewise if the wind gets up it takes only seconds to increase the feather to stop the wind grabbing the blades on the up stroke side.

VE Paddles are made by hand in Britain using pre-preg carbon and fibreglass materials and hot compression moulded construction techniques.
