Old Town Discovery 133 Canoe
The Discovery 133 from Old Town Canoes has been designed to offer ultimate flexbility with who and how the canoe can be paddled. With comfortable bow and stern seats, the Discovery 133 can be paddled traditionally as a canoe, with singled bladed canoe paddles. A large, comfortable center seat offers the option to bring along a 3rd passenger with ease, making this a great family canoe. As standard, Old Town Canoes have outfitted the Discovery 133 with forward and center oar locks as standard, meaning the canoe can also be proprelled forwards by rowing with a set of oars.
With the additional of a standard wooden motor mount, the Old Town Discovery 133 also makes an ideal platform to be used with a small outboard motor. This makes the Discovery 133 great for trips up river, with its wide beam offering exceptional stability. A great canoe for fishing, photography, bird-watching, or days out bringing the family along for the ride.
Along with great stability, the Discovery 133's defined keel line also helps the canoe to track straight, making it easy to maintain a bearing. The Discovery 133 is manufactured in the USA using Old Towns robust and reliable 3 layer polyethylene construction. Old Town are renowned for their quality builds, and tough construction that stands the test of time, and the Discovery 133 is no exception to this!
