The Enigma Prospector Sport takes the iconic prospector hull design, which has been fine tuned with a slightly narrower sleeker bow & stern, and less overall rocker. This produces a canoe with improved tracking and reduced water resistance, equating to a fast & efficient canoe, great for long trips on rough open water and fast moving rivers.

Enigma Canoes Prospector Sport Canoe
The Prospector hull shape is a well-established design with a long heritage. The Enigma Canoes Prospector Sport aims to provide a quicker and more efficient paddling experience than most standard Prospector designs. With a gentler rocker along the keel line and slightly narrower hull towards the bow and stern you will notice the great straight-line tracking and more efficient paddling performance as it cuts through the water nicely. The straighter keel line of this Enigma Prospector Sport hull makes it more at home on flatter waters than a traditional Prospector while still being capable of tackling lower grade white water rivers with ease.
At 16ft in length, and with a 365kg carrying capacity, the Enigma Prospector Sport is an ideal size for solo tandem or even triple paddler use. There is room on-board to pack plenty of kit for multi-day adventures and the efficient sport hull design will enable you to cover a fair bit of water. The high-density foam core laminated polyethylene construction provides a durable and rigid boat that is well suited for both recreational and commercial users.
Manufactured in Canada, and assembled in-house in the UK, we can provide the Enigma Prospector Sport in a range of outfitting options to suit your requirements.
The standard outfitting of the Enigma Canoes Prospector Sport is a tandem set up with 2x varnished wood-web seats along with a deluxe wooden carrying yoke & thwart. The Enigma Prospector Sport can also be outfitted with 3x wood-web seats if needed. The third seat means there is no carrying yoke in this configuration.
