USP - Unique Sheath Plait
This is the concept which gave Enduro ropes their name! By using a higher than normal percentage of sheath yarns have created one of the most durable and damage resistant ropes ever built. Combining this with a yarn twist aligned along the axis of the rope for handling we feel that this feature makes for a solid reliable 'best in class' rope.
BCC - Balanced Core Concept
Choosing the right core construction makes a huge amount of difference to rope behaviour. Our yarns are twisted and heat treated in house and then selected to provide a core strand construction specific to each rope diameter. Perfecting this 'balance' for all our styles has been testing, but the effect is obvious as we deliver a solid, perfectly round rope which feels and handles great from day one.
DCC - Dura-Core Construction
A "marine finish" lubricant is applied to the core which changes the way it interacts with the sheath, increasing the dynamic properties of the finished rope as well as significantly aiding longevity.
SD - Super Dry Treatment
A wet rope may hold less than 50% of the falls held when dry. Complete immersion of the rope in the hydrophilic, silicone based solution and subsequent heat setting ensures the best possible protection against water absorption. Super dry treatment is an important contributor to rope safety and performance, therefore all Infinity Ropes are offered with the choice of a Super Dry treatment.
MM - Middle Marking The nylon whipping which marks the middle of Infinity ropes is more durable than tape and much easier to see than ink, particularly on dark ropes.
