Ocean Kayak Tetra 12 - Standard & Angler Models

The Ocean Kayak Tetra 12 is the larger of the two Sit On Tops in the Tetra series. (The Tetra 10 is ideal for smaller paddlers) Designed for touring, fishing and recreational leisurely paddles, it is perfect for sheltered coastal waters, lakes, canals and estuaries. The hull is very sleek and efficient with good forward speed so that you can cover some distance if you wish.

As standard the Tetra 12 comes with a very comfortable padded seat that fixes in position to prevent it slipping around when paddling (Ocean Kayak Hybrid Seat), large front hatch and adjustable foot rests. Anyone that has paddled a Sit On Top with adjustable footrests will tell you how much better they are compared to kayaks without them, adjustable foot rests allow you to position your legs in the best position for comfort and paddling posture.

The rear tankwell area and the bow hatch provide plenty of space to transport your gear.

The Angler Model has exactly the same hull design with the addition of two flush mounted rod holders and a modular fishing pod hatch system. This unique hatch system provides easy access to your fishing rods which is handy for stowing your rods if coming back to the beach. The hatch cover has with tons of mounting options and a ruler...all easily accessible while seated in the boat. In addition to accepting Scotty,Cannon rod holders and RAM mounts, a smartly laid out series of pilot screw holes enable anglers to mount GPS, fish finders, water bottle holders, paddle leashes and virtually any accessory to desired positions within the kayak.
