Malibu Kayaks eXtreme The Malibu Kayaks Extreme has channels in the hull for high rigidity & good tracking. The other huge advantage is the hull has more mechanical strength and will retain its design shape for much longer, always assuming you store the kayak sensibly. The Extreme Fish and Dive is 15' long with a beam of 31" and this combination delivers good forward speed with stability. The Extreme is a low profile fast angling and touring kayak, a rare combination indeed. The best performance will be obtained by those who have done a bit of paddling. The lower profile offers less windage and a slower drift compared to most kayaks but the ride can be wetter in the chop. If you have done a bit of paddling you may well have a pair of dry trousers or a drysuit. One great seat to choose from and a live bait well can be fitted in the rear hatch. By replacing the front hatch with Malibu's Gator Hatch you gain a child's seat and can add two more rod holders to the Gator hatch if desired.
