Dagger Kayaks Stratos 14.5
The Dagger Stratos is a versatile kayak suitable for general touring and coastal play. With a well designed hull profile it is stable both on flat water and in lively seas so it offers a smooth and forgiving ride for beginners while also providing all the response and high performance that highly experienced adrenaline seekers will love. It has the speed to get you to where the fun is, be that in tidal races, off-shore rock gardens or journeying along the coastline. The Stratos surfs well and is rapidly gaining a reputation as the rock-hopping boat of choice for adventurous thrill-seeking paddlers, it even does well on fairly gnarly white water river runs.
Volume around the middle keeps you comfortable and riding high, whilst finely tuned rocker profile and soft edges make the boat manoeuvrable and forgiving in rough conditions. Drop the skeg and it will track beautifully, raise it and you will experience stunning manoeuvrability. Great hull design is complimented by the excellent cockpit outfitting which can be adjusted to ensure maximum conectivity so every move you make is transferred directly to the boat. The Stratos comes with Dagger's Contour Lite outfitting which provides plenty of comfort and multi-adjust options such as variable hip pad shims and 8 fitting points for fine tuning the thigh pads to ensure you get the level of comfort and control needed for an outstanding paddling experience.
The Stratos 14.5 is available in two sizes to suit various paddler sizes - the Stratos 14.5 S (small) and the Stratos 14.5 L (large), the Large version has more volume just forward of the cockpit to accomodate paddlers with longer legs!
Moulded and made here in the UK this is an ideal choice for anyone wanting a versatile multi-purpose kayak and has become a tried and tested favourite amongst club paddlers and coastal explorers alike.
