Nova Craft Bob Special
The Nova Craft Bob Special is an improved version Chestnut Canoe Company original, a lightweight canoe well suited to solo tripping and casual tandem paddling. Its width and optimized hull shape make a quick but stable boat which is great for recreational touring and quiet stalking. Great as a tandem day tripper, with enough space for a weekend canoe trip. When a competent paddler gives it a go the boat truly shines. The Bob Special has a unique blend of characteristics which make it an enjoyable boat for new and experienced paddlers alike and makes it is one of our best selling lightweight canoes.
Comfortable ash-laced seats compliment the traditional look of this canoe and allow for the paddler to be seated or kneeling down for a traditional paddling technique. Built-in buoyancy tanks at the bow and stern ensure this canoe will stay afloat should it turn over and save sthe need ot buy additional buoyancy.

Constructed from lightweight Tuff Stuff - a composite material made of basalt and Innegra fibers. When they are woven together into a cloth and infused with our high impact vinylester resin system, the result is simply amazing! TuffStuff canoes are a great choice for recreational paddlers looking for a light canoe thats tough enough to withstand general touring and recreational paddling use.
