Canoe and Kayak Hire In Devon from Kayaks & Paddles (Plymouth)

Canoe and kayak hire is not supervised by Kayaks & Paddles. Hire is conditional on the wearing of the Personal Flotation Device provided. Terms and conditions apply at time of hire.

Note: You will need to be able to transport the kayaks that you hire to the place that you intend to paddle.
We sell car roof racks, if you need to buy a roof rack please contact us prior to making your journey to check we have the correct parts in stock.

Canoes & Kayaks Available to Hire.

Cost per kayak including paddle & personal flotation Device per person.

Paddles, Buoyancy Aids & Whistles will be provided with all Recreational, Touring & Sit On Top Kayaks & Canoes hired.

• A Single Sit On Top or Kayak has - 1x Buoyancy Aid, 1x Paddle & 1x Whistle.
• A Double Sit On Top or Kayak has - 2x Buoyancy Aids, 2x Paddles & 2x Whistles.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE HIRER.

• You must be over 18 years old.
• Under 18yrs must be accompanied by an adult.
• Must be of an average fitness to undetake kayaking or canoeing.
• Indentification MUST be brought with you at time of hire.
• Regretably hire to Stag/Hen parties or larger groups is prohibited.

Helpful Information.

• Suitable clothing should be worn while on the water. Please do not wear jeans or cotton clothing, when wet it becomes heavy and dosen't dry quickly. We suggest wearing a wetsuit, fleece or synthetic clothes. Waterproof over trousers are also useful.
• Suitable footwear like watersports shoes, sandals or trainers should be worn.
• Remember to bring a towel and have dry clothes to change into when you get back.
• We suggest you bring a hot or cold drink and a bite to eat if your hiring for more than 3hrs.
• You will need suitable means to transport the kayaks that you hire to your paddling location.
